Giraffe Photography ~ 2/3

Photographing giraffes is fun. Not only are they photogenic creatures, they love to pose too… but that’s not all. They markings make for some photographic fun as well. I always loved this particular photograph of two giraffes… where does one end and the other start??

Whilst sad I know, and will be upsetting to some of you I’m sure, the reality of life in the wild means that sooner or later, you’ll come across a fresh kill. But, and we have to accept this, there is a neverending circle of life; it’s a fundamental of nature. Was I honoured to capture this sight or appalled – difficult to judge at the time.

Circle of life…

It is sad to see such a beautiful animal dead and being eaten. But it is the circle of life as you say and its what has to happen for other animals to survive. At least it’s not a disgusting human hunter killing for sport or the coat.

That circle of life … sad but true, and necessary.
You are so right about that first one! it is hard to tell where one ends and the other begins!
