But I didn’t…

When I was a lad, a youngster, a tearaway, I would seek out mischief wherever and whenever I could. It’s the solemn duty of being a kid…. isn’t it?
A week or so ago, I found myself back in Bodrum, on the western coast of Türkiye; and as it happened, I came across a rather tempting challenge….
Rocks are put on this earth to hurl, throw, roll or smash; according to the doctrine of boyhood from whence I grew up 🙂
Now look at this beauty…. perched on a steep hillside. It’s just asking to be let loose for an afternoon roll!!
.
.
However, I was sad to admit that common sense go the better of me; and I let sleeping rock to go about its own business.
Damn – I’ve become a grown-up 😦
.
[…] yes, the infamous hill where I nearly reverted to the teenage anarchist […]

A wise choice indeed, and the people at the bottom of the hill are grateful for your maturity.

Still feel robbed of a cruel smirk or two… but I guess you are right 🙂

Ah yes, the difference between a child and an adult is that adults realise that actions have consequences and not always good ones!
