Often I blog about my rebellious past. Most of us have one, and at times I’m happy to report that this middle-aged has-been still reverts to said streak on the odd occasion 🙂

One of the bands that has stayed as a firm favourite of mine over the decades is Pink Floyd. Now, back in 1979, they released this, one of the most famous tracks of all time. As a teenage rebel trapped in a school life that I detested beyond measure, this song struck a chord like you’ll never know – and has stayed with me ever since. And yes, it is regularly played out in the Man Cave (depot/garage) at least once a month!

I’ve been saving this one for ages to add to my list of Tunes I Love, but cannot wait any longer…. enjoy 🙂

We don’t need no….. My hubby’s favorite band, fortunately I enjoy them too. I bought him The Wall on DVD a couple of years ago. Their latest cd is like a trip down memory lane with mostly instrumentals. Rambling on here…… 🙂

  2. Amazing! And when I was in high school, in the 90s, it was my anthem then too! Never gets old!

  5. With 8 years in a Catholic school…I saw a lot of bricks. Still suffer the effects sometimes. Always loved this song. ☺
