This the skin of a Pomelo
.
It’s nowhere near fully grown yet. These fruit will be well over a stretched hand in size when they are ripe, and pale yellow…. for this is a baby Pink Grapefruit, a.k.a. Pomelo 🙂

So THAT’S what a pomelo is! Thanks for clearing that up… We sell grapefruit and pomelo scented candles where I work and I’ve been meaning to look it up for ages 🙂 I’m sure sun-ripened pomelos fresh from the farm are delicious!

Once they are fully grown and ripe, they are as big as my outstretched palm, and a pale yellow colour.

I think they are the original base citrus fruit type too. Not as bitter as a traditional white grapefruit – my wife loves them!

Health in every spoonful, eh?
Do tamarillo grow where you live? I like them, but they’re so expensive to buy.

Not heard of that one here. We do have the Cornel (Turkish: Kızılcık) which may be similar.
