Love the autumn skies…

Living in a rural area, we have basically zero pollution to be concerned with, and so the skies are often a source of joy at this time of year. For months on end we don’t even see a cloud, so come autumn, one tends to stand, sit, or lay down and marvel at the beauty above.
These are a few shots I took these past weeks.

How strange I’d find that, not seeing a cloud for so much of the year. As you know, the UK is a place over which clouds enjoy assembling in great numbers much of the time. I love clouds, although prefer the white ones to the grey ones, and would miss them dearly were they to abandon my country.
Lovely pictures.

Today we have moved into a 7 day storm cycle, with heaps of lightening, rain, electric/internet on and off etc… love it 😀

Gorgeous skies, Uncle Spike. This is the same in California comes fall season. If only rain could come…

They are so dramatic here too…. or perhaps just that we see so few for months on end, anything impresses us?
