Lilac, Purple, & Pink

We all travel through life, experiencing good and bad, meeting new friends, and losing track of others. Many of use also find love, whilst for some, it’s just a temporary passing; either through choice, or circumstance. But at some point or another, we are all going to be faced with the loss of a loved one, friend, or family member.

Death is a part of life, and those of us who have experienced it up close and personal on one or more occasion understand what I’m talking about. Time passes on by, and we learn to live once more; some of us creating whole new lives in the aftermath of what seemed utter devastation.

But memories are something that time strengthens, rather than weakens… and that brings me to the images taken this afternoon of lilac flowers; taken in memory of many years ago this week.
