Taken an hour ago, here are some of the rose beds. With spring providing cool nights, occasional rain and sunny days of not quite yet 30C (86F), the roses are at their best. Another month and they’ll start to calm down as the heat rises. For now, we can can enjoy…

  2. Those are amazing. Not even a bud in sight on my UK rosebushes yet. I just have a profusion of yellow in the garden, plus bluebells (some of which are white and pink, but are still called bluebells!) and forget-me-nots.
