Flower Friday ~ This morning’s roses
15Friday 15 April, 2016 by Uncle Spike
Taken an hour ago, here are some of the rose beds. With spring providing cool nights, occasional rain and sunny days of not quite yet 30C (86F), the roses are at their best. Another month and they’ll start to calm down as the heat rises. For now, we can can enjoy…

Those are amazing. Not even a bud in sight on my UK rosebushes yet. I just have a profusion of yellow in the garden, plus bluebells (some of which are white and pink, but are still called bluebells!) and forget-me-nots.

Sounds lovely. We have great colour here now…. but won’t be long until summer and everything just about survives, or not…

They are a little late in fact, often a full show by mid March. Strawberries will be ready in 10 days too 🙂

Yummm…we still must wait for June. Pears in full bloom here with plums close behind and terribly cold weather….possible freeze tonight through Sunday…I sure hope it doesn’t freeze I would like some fruit and some lilac blooms!

I always feel guilty if I don’t get round to doing my “Evelyne post” on a Friday morning.
