Autumn colours, in Winter
12Saturday 26 December, 2015 by Uncle Spike
It’s officially past mid-winter…. yeah right! Our trees are only just shedding their leaves, as our weird weather continues unabated after 12 long months. It’s played havoc with the crops of course, but such is life; however, the colours are great though 🙂

Many empty trees this year, but this one in the veg garden is loaded

If you want weird weather you should be in the UK. Daytime temperatures of 15-16, tee shirts and shorts, it is not normal. Happy New Year Spike to you and yours and I look forward to a post bag full of posts in 2016!

15 is almost tropical. The grass is growing, I might have to cut it next week!

Seems the trees etc all over are confused what season it is. Good luck.

I know. I have roses still flowering, and summer fruit trees budding, whilst others are shedding leaves !

They usually totally shed in less than 48 hours. Things happen quick here, lol

Beautiful, but not wintery! I have that same purple grass in my front yard.

About as wintery as we’ll get… Saying that, we had cold storms last winter that killed a few trees even.
