Weekly Photo Challenge: Gathering (I)

Friday 18 December, 2015 by Uncle Spike

This week’s first entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is one I’ve used before a long way back; it’s a gathering of Zanzibari women waiting for the fishing boats to bring the day’s catch to shore.

Hope you enjoy this entry.

I like their simple, yet colorful dress. I’m kind of old fashioned that way. Nice shot.

I love it! I have a similar photo I took of the women on the shore of Lake Victoria (Tanzania side…or is it all in Tanzania?) in 1985. Brings back good memories.

I really like the soft colors of the women’s clothing. It works well with the bright sea and sand.

...waiting to hear from you...
