Macro Monday: Softness

We have a fair amount of these grasses dotted around the ‘house garden’ on the farm. Each year I split off a few more, and most seem to tale. Late summer and through to early winter they are quite a calming, soft addition to the garden. Anyway, this is my Macro Monday for this week. Hope you all enjoy it!

Those grasses are sold here at the garden centers with the name “Purple Fountain Grass” and can be quite expensive. Am I understanding that it is a wild grass where you are?
I love them.

Yes, gone are many of the ‘flowers’, with just a few roses left, but yes, other things also have a surprising beauty all of their own.
