Macro Monday: Giraffe’s eyelashes

Monday 30 November, 2015 by Uncle Spike

How about this as my entry for Macro Monday this week. It’s a rather interesting close-up shot of the eyelashes of a rather cheeky giraffe. Ok, this was taken at an open safari park rather than on one of our wilderness adventures, but even still, check out them lashes!

Hope you all enjoy it!

Their eyelashes was what I really marveled at when I met a few of them up close and personal at the Giraffe Center in Nairobi, Kenya in September 2005.
Of course those very long tongues that they want to lick you with are pretty amazing too.
