FOUR IMAGES – My first entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge is the creation of our reading room at the top of the house. It took me some 60 hours painstaking work to double coat woodstain all the wood of the roof, but the result even today still seems worth it. This post takes you through four stages of the transition.
Hope you enjoy this entry.
.
Stage 1: Untreated wood and bare steel joists
.
Stage 2: Wood covered joists; first coat stain almost done
.
Stage 3: Second coat complete; walls undercoated
.
Stage 4: Job done. Time to sit and read… yeah right, when?

What a lot of work. I hope you do get the chance to sit down, put your feet up and read in that lovely room.
