Birds on a Wire

In trying to play around a bit more with photography, the nearest I have to a hobby away from daily life, I’m trying to vary my subjects beyond flowers and farm related stuff. After all, the farm chores are of course very much cyclical in nature, varying little year-on-year, and I don’t want to simply repeat the same old posts I presented to you last year, or the year before for that matter…

So anyway, here’s one I took recently in İzmir, the western city here in Türkiye that has, among other attractions, a fair few train tracks sporting overhead electrical cables, upon which these birds whiled away much of their day.
