Macro Monday: Another fly

Monday 09 November, 2015 by Uncle Spike

For Macro Monday this week, I have selected another ‘fly’ shot. It’s not in perfect focus I think, and perhaps stretching the bounds of my camera, but all the same I like his pose for the camera. Hope you all enjoy it anyway!

I like your photo……..but, I think you may have a “thing” for flies, 🙂

  2. What an interesting looking fly. Such a close-up shot makes it looks like an extraterrestrial. I hope it doesn’t bite. I’m off biting things at the moment. Something bit my ankle three months ago and it still hasn’t healed up properly, although is beginning to respond to a dab of manuka honey a day, with a plaster on top (an expensive bite).

Just look at that black and white body. And no wonder I can never sneak up a fly, their eyes are amazing.
