Well this ‘Guess What?‘ attracted some great suggestions. Did you get anywhere close? This was the image as seen below. Of course, it was taken very close up, cropped, and pretty blurred, so it was never gonna be easy…

As for the suggestions, here is what you collectively came up with! A definite theme there on the ‘eye’, but alas it wasn’t any of these…

Reptile eye.

A drilled hole in a stone, with water at the bottom!

A fish eye.

A black hole in the universe!

A hole saw.

A harbor view from inside a historic fortification on a foggy day.

A snake’s eye.

.

But it was this…., a small bullet hole in what’s now rusted metal.
