Evening cloud & light
15Tuesday 27 October, 2015 by Uncle Spike
Here we have the same scene, under two different camera settings. Both taken towards the end of the day, as the sun was setting. The temperature was still around 22C (72F), and the skies mostly clear, except around the hills, as you can see. This first shot is moody and slightly menacing – and my personal clear favourite.
.
.
Whereas this second shot is more carefree; lighter and brighter…
.
.
Which do you prefer?
.
Actually I think I like both of them for different reasons, but the dramatic tone of #1 would win by a hair 🙂

#2 is my choice–but lately I’ve been drawn to more light-filled pics. I think it’s more to do with my mood, to tell you the truth.

Ditto, #1. I always prefer the more dramatic. Beautiful!

I’ll join you on the ‘drama’ front.

The first. I love the darkness and the pink. Your skies are lovely!
