Eva Cassidy: new footage
8Wednesday 14 October, 2015 by Uncle Spike
Some of you may recall my having added Eva Cassidy to my personal Hall of Fame; otherwise known as those Tunes I Love. Well, today I came across this gem of some previously unseen footage of the late, great singer/songwriter, Eva.

Her music helped me out of a hole after being left suddenly on my own, and still has a very special place in my life. Quite strange really, to consider she had long passed before I even found her music, and she helped me to cope after someone else’s passing too.

You’ll remember me when the west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in fields of gold …
Still miss her. Thanks for sharing

What a delightful share, Spike, perfect after being awakened by thunder, lightning and a light rain on a metal roof. Thanks, man!

Wow… then you have some catching up to do 🙂 She was only really discovered commercially after her death – but one of the purest voices I’ve come across.
