It surprised me how green the landscape in Turkey is even at the end of summer. Beautiful.

Varies all over… much of Türkiye is on the High Anatolian Plateau, but even here we get rains from the back end of Sept. and then it’s like the green button has been pressed.

Neat, Spike, a landscape not too dissimilar from our foothills in the Southern Sierra Nevada of California.
