Unfortunately this is the condition of the entire world and will be it’s fate unless everyone realizes that Jesus truly is the savior of the world. I am alarmed at not only those that cannot see this, but will not see it even when it’s self-evident. We must love once another and treat once another as we wish to be treated and place God first place in our lives. Only then will this kind of behavior stop.

Not quite my views on life, but similar (we follow the same, but in different ways I guess). My personal view is ‘each to their own’. As long as what I/we do does not hurt the next person, then who cares… and yes, why can’t we all live together 😦

My thoughts are with you Uncle Spike. Your posts generally are of a beutiful place, both physical and the state of mind you portray. The senseless violence against innocents is incomprehensible. M 😦

I could fill post after post of the darker side, but it’s been a conscious decision from the start to portray the positive, but sometimes I just have to. Political blogging here is another story, and ending up behind bars is not going to help my family 😦

Thank you Linda. Friends of ours drove 9 hrs to attend the peace rally, arriving 30 minutes later than originally intended, and 30 mins after the bombs – not their time.

Unfortunately we are seeing an escalation in racist here and it makes me both angry and sad.

Just so needless. Here it is not based on race or ethnicity per sae, but deep rooted national polarisation that is fueling what is fast becoming civil war in the east, and dominating everyday life, politics, the judiciary, military, police, education and most other communities themselves.

We need about 150,000 tough cowboys over here to go kick some butt and bang their flaming heads together John. As to whichever side (and there are many) is to blame (which may not be what is reported), what sort of mentality can justify slaughter of another 100 (almost) non-combatants, especially after we lost 33 youngsters in July??

When it is disparate parts of a single country, it is especially scary yes; civil strife/war is somehow worse in that it destroys the very fabric of the collective ‘nation’

I too am very concerned for the destruction and loss of lives in our world today. It’s unstable and hearts are callous.. May you and yours be protected from harm..

Feel sad and sorry to read about the blasts. We are also victims of such acts of terror. I could never understand how anyone can take lives of so many innocent people.

All over the world it’s a sad place…many are losing their life unnecessary …even here in Australia and many other parts of the world…we are all brothers and sisters …it’s a shame religion stops us from this realisation instead segregates us all .. I send love to all in Turkey and also to the rest the world who experience loss of life …

Wise words; if only others shared that view. We lost 33 youngsters a while back in July in another similar bombing, as well as others. The regularity and scale is escalating :(.
