Just never could rebuild a life of her own after the loss of her daughter. She worked tirelessly to help others, but once the book was published, and she’d promoted that all over the States, getting back to work was perhaps too ‘normal’…. and I don’t think she could handle normal, as that was an eternity away from how she still felt.
