This week’s second entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge was taken in the grounds of Christ Church, Stone Town, on the spice island of Zanzibar. This monument to the slaves was maybe not creepy, but certainly very disturbing and disgusting.

  1. I read a post yesterday about Tamil women tea workers in Sri Lanka, they may not have chains around their necks but I was shocked at their lifestyles.

    Just awful … whoever the sculpture was, really captured the horror. The viewer cannot help but feel affected
