Roses are red…

Every girl loves their red roses, sure, but even us mortal males can appreciate their simplistic beauty. I love these deep red coloured flowers, as in the first image. Rather classic in shape, colour and standing, but all the same, sometimes classic is best.

Of course, these three and a bunch of others were suitably ‘removed’ and placed as a surprise in the back of the boss-lady’s car when she left to work away for another week after Mother’s Day (couple of weeks back).

These next shots are of a slightly lighter coloured rose, I think; or perhaps it’s just the lighting (?). Anyhow, still an elegant rose, don’t you agree?
