The delicate orange rose

Sunday 17 May, 2015 by Uncle Spike

Another day, another colour rose…. and today we feature a dusty orange coloured specimen, with hints of lilac and yellow too.

This next image is from a better angle I think, and I took the liberty to crop much closer, following some kind help the other day from Maureen from JOSEPHINA BALLERINA 🙂

Dedicated to Elaine, from I USED TO BE INDECISIVE… who I sort of promised to share these blooms once they came out 🙂

Beautiful! Almost a salmon, but not …more like a lovely sunset in our neck of the desert!

  4. I know not all roses have scent, but with your photo, I am enjoying a lovely aroma right now,

You are right – the second photo really shows off the roses petals beautifully. A lovely photo.

Wow! That close cropped picture works amazingly well. What a beautiful rose, too.
