Dark and moody: that’s how this one sounds to me. It’s Dire Straits enigmatic “Private Investigations”, from the ‘Love Over Gold’ album back in 1982. Can that really be 33 years ago???

Back in the day, I was a big fan of Dire Straits. Still am as a matter of fact. So this has been another from my look back at Tunes I Love – is it on your list too?

Huge Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan since the first album! Just bought his new CD “Tracker” last week. He’s mellowing with age, as we all are, which makes his music the soundtrack to my life. Saw his phenomenal live show in Boston a few years back. Mark is one of the true musical geniuses of our time; everyone should stop and listen to his talents. Thanks for being a fan!
