Dreadlock Holiday

Here’s another of the Tunes I Love for your entertainment and perhaps a memory-jogger for some of the ever greying mob, such as yours truly, who remember the music of the ’70s!

Come to think of it, my hair at high school was pretty similar to Kevin (Godley) – standing, centre.

This was 10CC, a British band with a distinctive style that has spanned on/off some 43 years. Their reggae-styled album entitled Dreadlock Holiday was one of my first album purchases as I recall, back in 1978…

They did a pretty funny video for this too, acting out the story on the streets and beaches of Jamaica.

Wish I still had that album. But then I would have to go buy a turntable to play it on….
