Like most islands in Greece, the Cyclades island of Syros is no different in terms of having an abundance of motorbikes of all shapes and sizes everywhere corner you turned. Of course, you’ll hear no complaints from me, as a 30-year bike veteran, even if I am ‘in-between’ having wheels on the road right now!

This rather sexy wee Ducati was ridden by a rather petite young filly in fact, which was just as surprising to see as the monster bike itself – bearing in mind the island wasn’t exactly full of large open roads upon which one could ‘open up’ such a beaut!

And then there we the guys who could but dream, or just favoured four-wheels instead of two. Either choice certainly beats the car option when faced with such beautiful scenery to travel around.
