This one takes me back to 1977 and the Brotherhood of Man, remember them? My favourite of theirs was probably this track, Angelo. I love the simplicity of this era; does that say something about me? Probably.

This is another of my run called Tunes I Love, taking you on my musical journey into my past; hopefully stirring memories for you too…

Ha, ha. One I’d forgotten, too but a real blast from the past. Mind you, I’d had enough after the third repetition of the lyrics!

They look and sound a lot like ABBA, Abba I like and I know you do also! Got to love Cocaine..er.. I mean Eric Clapton, Have you ever heard of Blue Swede? OOga Chucka OOga Chucka Hooked on a Feeling..??? Good tune!, a new group redid it and they ruined it!

  3. I honestly don’t remember this one. But then, 1977 was a really rough year for me. So, maybe, trying to forget the music, or just not paying attention ? I know their other songs. ☺

  5. Thanks for the reminder. I’d forgotten this song. The song that I always think of when the group comes up for discussion is United We Stand.

Sorry Uncle Spike, but I can’t think of that without also thinking of “Long ago, outside a chip shop in Walthamstow….” (Barron Knights, I think).
