Weekly Photo Challenge: Wall (III)
8Sunday 15 March, 2015 by Uncle Spike
This week’s third entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is the final wall to be built when we constructed our house, here on our farm in southwest Türkiye. This sloping wall separates the ‘sun terrace’ from the roof area. As for why it’s so special, this is where we sleep in mid summer, when it’s still 35C (almost 100F) at night sometimes, but up there, the breeze helps, and the night sky with all the stars is awesome as we have so little light pollution.
Hope you enjoy this entry.

I would think sleeping/eating/living on your roof is wonderful!

gosh – what a lovely place to build a farmhouse. i am guessing no pesky biting things if you sleep outside.

Maybe one or two a night no more, as we are fairly well elevated there.
