Homemade Bread

Saturday 14 March, 2015 by Uncle Spike

I have no home phone or internet this weekend, thanks to a nine hour storm that knocked out the local facilities yet again. We had wind, rain, lightening and even a rather large pile of hailstones – all very weird for March.

Anyway, I wanted to share some homemade bread my wife just conjured up, but with limited upload access via my wife’s phone modem, here’s just a photo of the end result for now – and it tastes awesome I can tell you!!!

The recipe will follow at a later date, promise, complete with the usual array of photographs from the Spike Kitchen 🙂

That very much looks like one of my favourites … Irish Soda Bread. Hope the lights are back on to stay! Glad you’re safe.
