Weekly Photo Challenge: Wall (I)
12Friday 13 March, 2015 by Uncle Spike
This week’s first entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is the mega retaining wall we constructed on the farm to separate the ‘garden’ from the storm channel, here in southwest Türkiye.
Hope you enjoy this entry.
.
Two sides and an inner steel cage over two metres high.
.
Pouring in the many tonnes of C20 concrete.
.
Finishing off time.
.
And this was why it was done…

Will it be enough to resist that creek flowing right by it?

Wow, that is some wall. I hope materials and labour are a bit cheaper than here in Aberdeen.
