Weekly Photo Challenge: Reward (I)
11Friday 27 February, 2015 by Uncle Spike
This week’s first entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is the smile on a street entertainer’s face on Children’s Day (23rd April) here in Türkiye. As for ‘reward’, well, it took me some thirty minutes to try and get a decent shot of him as it was so busy. These guys were so genuinely happy to be entertaining the crowds – but I think I was the only ‘grown-up’ interested in trying to photograph his ‘work’ 🙂
Hope you enjoy this entry.

Well I loved them both but it was good to learn that you have a children’s day! here in the UK 23rd April is St George’s day, and Shakespeare’s Birthday (and death day as it happens!)

This explains some of the background, whilst the next link was from our day last year.

Oh I love it and the food sounds just up my street as we say! Nothing too healthy or slimming! It looks like a great tradition which we should adopt x
