Not as tasty as it looked?

The latest ‘Guess What‘ had this image…

Some brilliant suggestions this time around 🙂

– a slice of raw beef

– muddy water (outside, rain, clay or maybe old concrete… the ground)

– rocky terrain after rain

– porridge

– mould growing on something I forgot to put in the fridge

– wet asphalt

– rocks at the seaside where the waves break over them (the tide is low and the water is trapped with only the occasional high wave wetting the rocks)

– Uncle Spike’s rather poor attempt at Nigella Lawson’s Easy Sticky Toffee Pudding

– mud coming through thawing ground

– fermenting fruit

– my wife’s soup

– grape skins / grape juice before it’s pressed for wine

– too many blueberries in the strudel

– wet road with cracks

– one of the stages of cooking the red lentil kofte

– ash residue from your coal boiler

– a tidal plain

– a river bed

– a sidewalk

– mud or stone

– slurry

– it’s poo!

– mud

– larva

– water on asphalt or grave

– Some sort of poo… like camel poo or cow poo or really weird horse poo. I only guess that because we have horses and when poop and pee mix and get wet they create that same brown colored liquid as is in this photo…

But just was the image of?

.

Well, it was the black acid waste from the olive oil factory, as posted back in December 2014 🙂  After the olives are pressed and the oil extracted, there is a huge pile outside, which oozes this dark brown, almost black acidic waste liquid. Nice, eh?

Ok, so the olive factory scene wasn’t guessed for this challenge, but I loved some of the ideas here – that was fun 🙂
