Weekly Photo Challenge: Depth (II)

Saturday 31 January, 2015 by Uncle Spike

Not sure if this counts as depth, photographically speaking, but here goes…

This week’s second entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is a capture of a knot hole in a plank of wood on an old jetty. İt has depth by showing the thickness of the wood, but also depth in that we can see the water below the jetty – this link shows the whole structure if you are interested.

Hope you enjoy this entry.

had me fooled there, thought it was a lizards eye (first thought) 2nd. thought was a hole in rocks with water in the bottom, it fits Depth perfect.
    This is a hard one, I’m at a loss….

It looks like the eye of an Ent. Kinda scary.

  4. I like that the knot hole lets us see further adding depth through the shape of an eye .
