Scotland – Final Photos
12Saturday 31 January, 2015 by Uncle Spike
I think this is my last in the series of images of Scotland. I had another root around the big box of travel snaps of old and found a few more that I thought worthy of sharing. To kick off, how’s this for a weekend retreat?

Oh and this one I loved, a quaint village church that seemed quite different from all the others I’d seen, especially with this interesting tower.

These small Scottish towns have a natural charm all of their own. Complete with all the modern shops and facilities you might come to expect, many of the small towns have also retained an abundance of character.

But as you may have guessed from the earlier posts, by far my favourite aspect of travel in Scotland are the beautiful lochs, and the mountains that surround them.

Final shot – my new house…. Yeah right!

I sure hope to visit someday!

You have made me realise that I should take more photos when I am out and about.
I hope too to start going through my old photos and scanning them. I wonder if I will ever get through them all?

Takes too darned long… but I try and do a small pile whenever there’s a rainy day 🙂

My Grandmother was from Scotland and missed it sooo much, I wish I could go and visit what she saw and loved.

Thanks… these are all scans of old prints from cheap mail order places that have sat in the attic for a decade too 🙂
