Weekly Photo Challenge: Depth (I)
46Friday 30 January, 2015 by Uncle Spike
This week’s first entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge was taken at a place called ‘Anıtkabir’, in Ankara, the capital city here in Türkiye. The literal translation of Anıtkabir being “memorial tomb”, and is the site of Atatürk’s mausoleum – the founder and first president of the Republic of Turkey.
For more about this great place, you are welcome to click here and see a couple of posts I did about it….
Hope you enjoy this entry.

There is certainly plenty to see. We have a vast country filled with many places to visit from many centuries. One day I hope…

Most impressive. It would make a wonderful subject for a wall mural.

I appreciate how hard it is to capture a building like this even with wonderful natural light. Wow- that really is ‘depth’!

I was quite pleased as it was hard to capture the size of the place on my small camera.
