Blogging Aids Focus
8Friday 19 December, 2014 by Uncle Spike
It is all far too easy just to accept and passively ignore our surroundings. There is beauty all around, whether it be natural, social or architectural, but how often do we take a moment just to look, savour and delight in the surroundings that we find ourselves in?
This virtual world that us bloggers reside in is, for some, a source of escapism, whilst for others, it’s being part of an unseen global community.
Let us all slow down, stop a while, and savour the moment – then share the images and words that represent the many beautiful wonders of this world 🙂
This was my view this morning, as the kiddo and I waited for the school bus – but like all that we see, the sharing is what actually enriches the experience. And no more pertinent than today, as the magical number of 2000 followers seems to have crept up all of a sudden – I thought that would be months off, thanks guys !!

WOW! 2,000 followers! They are very wise to join up, for you bring to many of us the only bit of Turkey we can ever get to see and know.

Thanks Linda. I reckon about 200 are regulars though, with a few duplicates (perhaps WP, Twitter,FB,Email) and plenty of commercial names..).

Well said Spike! I too have noticed that – as a blogger – I see the world around me very differently. It’s one of the unexpectedly gifts from blogging 🙂
