Macro Monday: “Cute Arachnoid”

My posting for Macro Monday.

Living in rural Turkey, we share our world with our arachnid friends; from tiny weeny ones, to large Huntsman spiders that are almost palm-sized (that’s leg to leg, not body size, and yes, I meant palm as in hand, not palm as in tree!).

But we also have these cute ones who always hang around on the balcony walls.

Hope you all like it !

I take it that is a Turkish granddaddy long-legs? He’s proportioned a little differently than our varieties, and your spider’s legs appear to be straighter.

  2. Reminds me of our California tarantualas, in a slender version.
