To all the Spikey’s (followers) in North America, stay safe n warm…!
Cannot fathom what it must be like, such temperatures, OR the sheer volume of snow. It’s totally alien to me, and have no concept of what you are going through, but we send you are best wishes, oner and all.

I sure don’t envy Amy any, or anyone else living in NY this week. And the animals? My heart aches for them—we all need to pray for our neighbors in New York, whether two legged, or four. 😉

Uncle Spike, I just now am able to start answering comments and such. Never have I ever seen this amount of snow here. The sheer volume is mind blowing. I am looking at drifts of up to 8feet and the last I heard we got 50inches of snow, with much more coming. My husband and I were able to clear a path down the driveway, and two paths leading to our furnace vents that were blocked (we had no heat for a while) and another path to the bird feeders. The birds actually were coming right up to the house and to me asking to be fed. This is an emergency if I ever did see one, and even the birds know it. Thank you for the reblog. (((HUGS))) Amy
