Flower Friday – Morning Glory

Friday 07 November, 2014 by Uncle Spike

This was the view as I looked up from my book this past summer, whilst lazing on the balcony of a rental place on the Greek island of Kalymnos – part of the Dodecanese chain, and another of our closest neighbours.

  1. Is it the same as in the UK, where the blue morning glories are cultivated and containable, while the white ones are considered a weed and wind themselves around every plant in sight? We have a constant battle with them at our allotment. Absolute nightmare.

  2. Green and purple are really cool next to each other. Thank you for this lovely pic. Have a great weekend, everyone.

  3. One of my favourite islands and one of my favourite flowers!
