Today’s offering from “Tunes I Love” is, of course, delving back into the late 70s, my primary point on life’s timeline when it comes to my musical tastes… as any regular blog-watchers will have no doubt gathered by now.
Happy to admit, most of my ‘stuff’ is rock based, but I have been known to have occasional splurges into other genre, and here’s one such example. While those I associated with at school adorned long hair, wore belts with more metal than a small family car, and banged our heads around like chickens stuck in a cage, there were ‘the others’; you know, those modern, trendy wimps… New Romantics. They were not us, but, it pains me to say, occasionally they did have the odd spot of musical taste. This is one of them, by a certain miserable looking chap by the name of Mister Gary Numan:
