Flower Friday – Ornamental Pond

Friday 17 October, 2014 by Uncle Spike

This is another photo taken a few years back by Granny Spike, a.k.a. Uncle Spike’s mum 🙂

The pond was dug by yours truly as I was out of work at the time (so somewhere around the early 90s), then Granny Spike set to work designing and planting this beautiful rockery scene. This image was taken some 5 years later.

It’s just lovely but as I am looking at the photos I am also thinking: that must have been serious back-breaking super strenuous work!!! Great job to both you and your Granny. Now all I need to do is send you a ticket to Barbados so you can help me with a pond of my own … 🙂
