A Canadian Rush

Tuesday 14 October, 2014 by Uncle Spike

Back in 1968, one of the great rock bands of my generation was formed in Canada. That band goes by the name of Rush, and features the unmistakable lead vocal of Geddy Lee.
This is of course one of my Tunes That I Love, with the track Fly by Night from 1975, taken from the album of the same name.

Used to love Rush. I was lucky enough to see them live five times in the good old Glasgow Apollo 🙂

I definitely was not alive in 1975, but I still love Rush! “Limelight” is a favorite; really, the whole “Moving Pictures” album 🙂

  5. Rush is unquestionably the most important of the power-trios still playing together. 🙂
