Gotta Love Summer Storms

Out of the blue, literally, we can suddenly have a deluge from above. I just love summer storms – short, loud, wet, and gone…

The skies are so dramatic and change in just a few short minutes, from summer sun, to dark winter, and back to blazing sun in clear blue skies the next…

  1. I love thunderstorms and we haven’t had one decent one this summer. They’re just pathetic damp squibs. When we do have them, I love standing at my bedroom window looking over the rooftops to the sea with fork lightning flashing from one horizon to another. Brilliant stuff, especially after dark.

I think it’s fascinating with storms, as long as they are visual…and not damage to much

We have enjoyed these when in Thailand – here it usually rains for hours!
