Weekly Photo Challenge: Fray (I)
26Friday 22 August, 2014 by Uncle Spike
This week’s first entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is a bit of a cliché, but here are some ‘frayed’ shorts… As I construct new things, I usually ‘bury something significant’, such as a worn-out pair of steel-toed work books, an old threadbare cap, or as is these cases, work-shorts that no longer keep me decent, should any visitors happen per chance to pop by the farm.
So here are two small constructions (wood shed and feed store), both with their respective additions about to be buried under concrete 😀
Hope you enjoy this entry.

And below are the shorts ‘where they were concreted over’

And another pair for another place 🙂

Looks like a pair of shorts I had. Too, if you look there is paint spots as if the person is a painter, I am a painter. Cool beans. Patrick

interesting idea… we just might have to do something like this when we fill a hole in the floor of our garage.

I’d love for someone to dig up the boots I have scattered around the house foundations, lol

I took that 4 years ago, just before placing (2nd shot) then concreting moments later, lol

Wow! What a symbolic gesture. I imagine your place is full of frayed and buried things. Great challenge.

Extra breathing spaces in that cloth, I see, for boiling hot weather!
