Fruit : Peaches

8

Wednesday 23 July, 2014 by Uncle Spike

We don’t manage to grow large juicy peaches here; I think it’s just too hot and dry. But apart from two years ago when red spider attacked our trees, killing off two, we seem to manage to grow some small, but tasty fruit. Still small and semi hard, we’ll have to wait a few more weeks this year, as everything is delayed due to the late onset of summer (June rather than May this year).
