Colour Of The Day: Pink

Wednesday 28 May, 2014 by Uncle Spike

The fourth in my mini-series on colours (or even colors).

Today’s theme for my look at colours is PINK.

Some of my LGBT friends will no doubt chip in with some rather dubious quips regarding the colour for this post…. however, it’s a cool colour, and we seem to go in for it big time around here 😀

Always a safe start to a post… a rose by any other name

Pink is the order of the day around here, garden wise at least

Pink oleander grows wild all around these parts

and an oleander close-up…

I gotta get me some of this neighbours climbing roses!

Wild hollyhocks

Seriously pink!

And of course, let me finish off back at home, and the rose bed.

That’s my look at pink
Lovin’ it!

I love pink! It reminds me I can be subtle (carnation pink) and strong (hot pink).

Oleander! I wondered what those shrubs were that I saw growing wild. Beautiful. Love pink and nature does it perfectly!
