I Love When Ideas Fail

Tuesday 20 May, 2014 by Uncle Spike

A few weeks ago I had the hairbrained idea of the Spikey Chatroom

Well, guess what, never got used, lol.

No biggie of a surprise either. After all, would I use it myself, err, “not on your life” would be an honest response 🙂

And so… binned that idea; moved on!

Thinking back though, am I surprised? I was an IT analyst programmer for a number of years, and had we even considered developing and implementing something that had zero business benefit and not at the behest of customer interest, we’d have been shot out the back of the office block, next to the public toilets!

Happy to admit that didn’t work out – said widget now given the silver bullet.

I love to be wrong sometimes. It gives me the courage to try out daft ideas – the very ethos of my existence!

Moved on 🙂

So how was your day???
