The noise around the orchard is quite something at the moment. With over a hundred clementine trees in full bloom, plus farms all around us, the bees are having a great old time of it. I’ve not found it easy to take many photographs of them ‘in action’, but here are a couple…

I tried to record the noise of all the bees – it’s quite something standing there in the orchard, but the video setting on my camera isn’t up to much. All you can hear are a few of our roosters… anyway, here it is 🙂

  2. It sounds like that when our lavender is in flower. Anyone with a bee allergy dares not climb our steps to our front door for fear of being stung, which is good when it comes to unsolicited sales calls!

    Super.

I have bee sting allergy but I know how vital they are to our ecosystem. Lately there’s a been lot of concern for them. It’s super to see them flourishing in such beauty. Thanks for sharing!
