Our broad bean plants are now in flower – time to get out there with the camera 🙂

How many flowers do you have at your place? You keep bringing new ones each Monday!
The farm is small, but with 7,000 m2 there’s plenty of space for stuff to grow!

any flower will get a high paw here.. we had more snow last night I think total this year 4′ plus the 2″ last night
thats about 1.2m – yikes
I don’t like broad beans but the flowers look cool.
Ah, but have you ever tasted them cooked within 30 minutes of cooking, lightly sautéed in a small amount of your own olive oil and fresh lemon or tangerine juice, and plenty of fresh dil …..
No, I think you mean within 30 mins of picking…I like some beans like the white beans in tomato sauce by Heinz, and red kidney beans in a chili con carne…but have never much like broad beans…but then I haven’t had them cooked Uncle Spike’s way 🙂
