Weekly Photo Challenge: Threes (II)
15Saturday 22 February, 2014 by Uncle Spike
This week’s second entry from me for the Weekly Photo Challenge is all about the life and times of a Pomegranate. In these three shots, we go from the bright red flower of the Pomegranate bush, to Pomegranate fruit ready to harvest, and then to a tray full of fresh Pomegranate juice, sour Pomegranate syrup and of course, Pomegranate jam.
Hope you enjoy this entry.

And… we had the molasses syrup poured over fresh rocket (roka) and fresh parmesan last night as a salad, and the jam was tasty to for this mornings breakfast too 🙂

My family and I love pomegranates, but I assumed they grew on a tree. I never would have thought such a large fruit would be produced by a bush! It makes me wonder what else I’ve got wrong.
